CELLO & GUITAR STRING QUARTET

The Oracle Historical Society is honored to host a performance of classical cello and guitar, given by two master musicians, Patrick Zwick and his partner Mary. Patrick is retired from the Utah Symphony and Mary performs in chamber music groups in the Bay Area.

2nd Annual ANTIQUES APPRAISAL DAY

Bring in your antiques, yard-sale finds and hand-me-downs for our 2nd Antiques Appraisal Day! Three appraisers – two national and one Southwestern – will be on hand to give expert advice at affordable prices. Early visitors will also be treated to a breif talk the state of todays antiques market. All monies raised benefit the Oracle Historical Society.

Dr. Ann Hibner Kobliz, an ASU Professor who has published books on women in territorial Arizona, discusses women's health and healing alternatives in Territorial Arizona and the Southwest during the 19th and early 20th centuries.

DUDES & COWBOYS: 100 Years of Rancho Linda Vista

This May, learn about Arizona's very first 'dude'ranch, in an exciting new exhibition at the Acadia Ranch Museum. Curator Chuck Sternberg, who has lived at RLV since 1968, has collected countless photographs, maps, furniture, tools and other ranching artifacts from its heyday as a major cattle ranch and playground for the rich and famous. He has also collected numerous stories from the people who once lived and worked at the ranch.
An opening reception will be held on Sunday, May 4th, from 2 to 5
